14 Hours in London With a Toddler. HELP!

This isn't in London, this is in Atlanta but the ferris wheel (aka "London Eye") seemed appropriate.

This isn’t in London, this is in Atlanta but the ferris wheel (aka “London Eye”) seemed appropriate.

On our way to South Africa we have a 14 hour layover in London. Originally my plan was to run wild until we were tired and then head back to the airport. After spending this summer traveling with our toddler (Chicago, Detroit, Niagra Falls, Atlanta, Kaufman and DC) I’ve realized that my plans may be too lofty! Lol

Instead of running wild all day we might need to go at a slower pace and schedule in some nap time … or not … what do I know? I’m a first-time parent! Lol

Of course we want to take a photo with the guards at Buckingham Palace and take a photo of him in those red telephone boxes, but what else can we do? When Googling I thought these places sounded good:

 

Anyone else have experience with this? What did you do?
